Marlyce (Martens) Gundy and Sharon (Sawatsky) Schermbrucker began singing classical and folk duets in their teens, soon after Sharon’s family moved to Vancouver. After a long hiatus, they reunited (with Adam Schattschneider on flute and Barbara Young on piano) to form the chamber group Beauty in the Blends, which has performed concerts across the U.S. and Canada. Meanwhile, Marlyce married Jeff Gundy, and they played and sang folk music in between raising children, work, and Jeff’s irregular adventures as a poet.

Now Marlyce, Sharon, and Jeff have gotten together again, forming the folk trio Rendezvous. With all three on vocals and Jeff on 6- and 12-string guitar, they will bring their close harmonies to tunes by Kate Wolf, the Wailin Jennys, Dave Carter, Old Crow Medicine Show, and others.
